How does your 100% Money – Back Guarantee work?

How safe is it for me to purchase from your website?
The security of your transaction is of utmost importance to us. All our credit card transactions are processed by DPS (Direct Payment Solutions), in a secure payment gateway. DPS is a global leader in online credit card processing through their Payment Express service.
Your credit card details are not seen or retained by Getting a Grip; they are handled by DPS and are only used when being transmitted to the appropriate credit card agency for processing.
What currency are your prices in?
All prices on our website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
The price charged to our overseas customers will be determined by the exchange rate applied by the customer’s credit company at the time the transaction takes place.
As a guide you can check the current exchange rate for your currency on this Currency Converter website to see how much you’ll be paying in your own currency. However, this is only an estimate as your card issuer may have used a different exchange rate or applied extra charges.
What forms of payment do you accept for online orders?
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and American Express. All transactions are required to be made online. Unfortunately we are unable to accept credit card payments over the phone.
If you have a payment query, please Contact Us.
Do you offer discounts for multiple purchases?
We have put some great packages together that offer excellent value for money. Take a look on our Bargains page for these special offers. We are happy to look at developing new combo packs if you have a suggestion, so please don’t hesitate to Contact Us.
How quickly can you process and deliver my order?
We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receiving them, (Monday to Friday) provided the item is in stock. Full details of our shipping charges and delivery times are here.
Can you deliver items internationally?
Absolutely! Full details of our shipping charges and estimated delivery times are available here.
What are your Shipping and Delivery charges?
Charges are based on the delivery area (New Zealand North Island, New Zealand South Island, Australia or International) and the item you purchase (eg Sanity Packs and Quefiles have a higher cost than books, CDs and DVDs due to their size).
When you make a purchase from our online shop, at the ‘checkout’ page, you will be asked to select the relevant shipping method.

What is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP)?
The Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation, established in 1980 by the National Speakers Association (NSA), is the speaking profession’s international measure of professional skill.
CSP is conferred by the US-based National Speakers Association and by the National Speakers Association of New Zealand only on those who have earned it by meeting strict criteria. This includes professional association, professional education, professional performance and professional business management standards.
Less than 10% of the speakers who belong to the The Global Speakers Federation (GSF) (formerly the International Federation for Professional Speakers) hold this professional designation.
Robyn Pearce was the first New Zealander to earn the designation of Certified Speaking Professional. There are currently only six other New Zealanders who hold the CSP designation.

Can I use NZTE Capability Development Vouchers for your Training Courses?
Yes, Getting a Grip Ltd offers services that are registered for the NZTE Capability Development Vouchers. We are a registered service provider with http://www.acceleratesuccess.co.nz/.
The NZTE voucher scheme makes it easier for small business owners and managers (with fewer than 50 employees) to access services that help build their management capabilities and accelerate the growth of their businesses.
Eligible businesses are able to use the vouchers to help them pay for qualifying services such as training workshops, courses and coaching.
If you would like to see if there are areas where undergoing training would assist your business, meeting with your local Regional Business Partner to perform a capability assessment is the first step. Find out more here.
How did Robyn become recognised world-wide as an expert in Time Management?
- Self study, observation & inspiration. Robyn’s first time management course was a Day-Timer-style diary program, just to fix her own problems! Next came books, courses and observation of not only her own habits but also the habits of those around her.
Just a few of those sources and inspiration (and some authors are now her friends and associates) are Merrill and Donna Douglass, Hyrum Smith, Alec McKenzie, The Franklin Diary system, The Daytimer system ,Stephen Covey, Brian Tracy, Kenneth Blanchard, Ann McGee-Cooper, Jim Collins, Lothar Siewert (Germany) , Tim Ferris, David Allen and Leo Babauta.
- 20 years of world-wide validation. Robyn’s programs, systems and books have been validated by 20 years of day-to-day use by hundreds of thousands of people in many countries and industries; age ranges from 17-70, blue collar workers through to CEOs and senior executives, stay-at-home parents through to high-earning entrepreneurs.
- Robyn is a specialist – not a generalist of many training topics. Many training companies have a small time management component in their suite of general business topics. Since it’s not their core focus they don’t have the time to keep up with the latest developments world-wide on this one topic.
Because everything Robyn teaches starts from a time- and productivity- focus, she has far more depth of knowledge in this area than any generalist.
She also networks regularly with the world’s top thought leaders in this topic.
- Ongoing learning with people in the trenches. Every week Robyn and her team work with new people in a wide range of industries. As a result they can’t help but learn new things!
Real people in the real world have been a valuable part of Robyn’s 20 year journey to discover how to be efficient, effective and productive and have a great life as well. She calls it the University of Life!
- Personal experience of doing it wrong! Many courses are taught by people who’ve no personal experience of struggle. Robyn admits she has made all the mistakes in the book and speaks from very practical and pragmatic experience.
- Daily life experience. Raising six kids (who arrived in a 9 year period), being actively involved with the lives of her sixteen grandchildren, running a successful business for many years and living a very full and enriching personal life – all this takes a bit of organization!
